Standard 1. Demonstrates competency in motor skills and movement patterns needed to perform a variety of physical activities.

Ex: The student will learn how to perform aerobic dance movements.

Standard 2. Demonstrates understanding of movement concepts, principles, strategies, and tactics as they apply to the learning and performance of physical activities.

Ex: The learner will learn movements needed to create an aerobic dance routine.

Ex: The learner will participate during class.

Ex: The learner will set fitness goals.

Fitnessgram assessment: Mile Run
Group Work: Sorority- Stroll Routine
Closing/Cool-down- Static Stretching 

Wednesday: 

Warm-up/Opening - Cardiovascular Endurance Activity, Dynamic Stretching
Fitnessgram assessment: Pacer Run
Fitnessgram assessment: Curl-ups/Push-ups
Revise Fitnessgram Goals
Group Work: Sorority- Stroll Routine
Closing/Cool-down- Static Stretching 

Thursday:

Warm-up/Opening - Examples of Strolling 
PowerPoint Presentation: Notes (Teamwork, leadership, personal and social responsibility) 
Core work
Group Work: Sorority- Stroll Routine
Closing/Cool-down- Static Stretching , ticket out the door 

Friday:

Warm-up/Opening - Cardiovascular Endurance Activity, Dynamic Stretching
Core work
Lower body routine
Group Work: Sorority- Stroll Routine
Assessment: Teacher observation: Sorority must have 1 min of stroll routine
Closing/Cool-down- Static Stretching , ticket out the door
