Standards:

Monday:

  • 2nd Fitnessgram Assessment
  • Height/Weight
  • Warm-up: Dynamic Stretching: Full Body
  • Pacer: Goal: Beat your current Fitnessgram Score
  • Cool-down: Static Stretching
  • Closing: Review Fitnessgram goals/results
Tuesday:
  • Warm-up: Dynamic Stretching: Full Body
  • 2nd Fitnessgram Assessment: Mile Run
  • Cool-down/Closing: Static Stretching/Review next unit

Wednesday:

  • Introduce team handball
    • History
    • Rules
    • Positions
    • Players
    • Equipment
  • Warm-up: Timed jogging
  • 2nd Fitnessgram Assessment: Curl-ups/Push-ups
  • Team handball skills practice
  • Begin a team handball game
  • Closing/cool-down: Review team handball information/Review Fitnessgram results
Thursday/Friday:
  • Warm-up: Cardiovascular Endurance warm-up
  • Fitness Component Exercise: Muscular Endurance: Push-ups-Upper body exercises
  • Team handball game
  • Closing/Cool-down: Static Stretching/Review next week's agenda: Floor Hockey.
